An adventurous holiday in the mystical Hara Port
You wake up in your cozy igloo campsite, the sun and the shimmering sea are shining through the window. The fresh sea air invites you to have your morning coffee, which you can enjoy in the restaurant with a sea view, and in the distance, sailboats swaying on the quay. Mornings like these are just like that at Hara Sadam, no matter the day. Life here moves in a different rhythm - the rhythm of the harbor.

If you don’t want to spend the whole day lazing around, there are plenty of activities to do here! Rent a paddle boat or SUP board, enjoy a glass of wine and local flavors at Sadama Resto or the best pizza in the region at Naga Pizza, visit the submarine base or soak up the steam in the igloo sauna with a sea view. And if the colorful history of Hara Sadam is more interesting, then take a guided tour to Hara Island or the former submarine base to learn more about its surprisingly colorful and exciting history. Hara Sadam and the submarine base have been surrounded by mysticism and a veil of secrecy since the beginning of time. Although today the former submarine base has become an attractive marina and recreation center, visited daily by tourists and enthusiasts from both Estonia and abroad, there is still a sense of mystery and a bit of suspense.

There is also a lot to discover in the surrounding area! The entire Lahemaa National Park with its fishing villages, beaches and hiking trails is yours. For example, the Viru Raba hiking trail, one of Estonia’s most famous bogs, is nearby, and the well-known Majakivi hiking trail starts right on the territory of Hara Sadam. Also worth visiting are the small, cute fishing villages such as Altja and Käsmu, and if you are already in the area, we recommend checking out the Palmse, Sagadi and Vihula manors. You will never get bored here and there will be activities for several days!
Hara Sadam is undoubtedly one of the most unique destinations to visit on the north coast. It is not an ordinary holiday resort, but a place where nature, history, culture and the present are intertwined. Also included are exciting active activities that will make your holiday memorable and interesting.
Come alone or as a couple, with a friend or family – there’s something exciting for everyone here!
